I prefer to be called LOLA. I am a queer African feminist. 32, live in Cameroon with my partner. I am currently completing a postdoctoral research on HIV prevention policies. In addition to my academic background, I am a strong advocate for social Justice especially for women: migrant women, young girls, queer women, women with disabilities, trans women, women living with HIVAIDS and chronic diseases, women seeking for abortion, etc. I have been the West and central Africa coordinator for the Coalition of African Lesbians in 2017, a consultant for Urgent Action Fund in Africa (UAFF) and for Queer African Youth Network (QAYN); I also participated and organized several regional meeting for LBQ women in the subregion. I am glad and excited to be part of a fierce Working group for an LBQ world conference.
